Fire Resistant cables are that cables which intended to be used for wiring and interconnection where it is required to maintain circuit integrity under fire conditions for longer periods than can be achieved with cables of conventional construction. These cables can withstand carrying electric current under specified nominal voltage at flame with a specified temperature (typically in the range of 750 °C to 950 °C) for a limited time (According to the applied standards and it could vary from 15minutes to 180minutes
